I bought my fabric at the Wherehouse Fabric store in Dallas Texas. I used techno crepe knit fabric in this video. Most people use bullet fabric, but I couldn't find any at the time. A soft stretchy knit fabric should work too. Thank you for watching my video!🤗🩷🌸

Just make sure you have at least 4 inches more of the bottom fabric all the way around so the pressnseal has more fabric to attach it to. Happy sewing!🤗🩷

Hi Maureen, I’m so sorry it did not work for you. Having a walking foot and following my tips really make a difference. Also if you’re making a larger blanket you will need to cut your minky fabric at least 4 inches bigger than flannel fabric to give the pressnseal more fabric to attach to. Cut the pressnseal larger too, like 8 inches wide. Also make your stitch length longer like a 3.5 or 4 helps too. If anyone else on here has a similar sewing machine like Maureen, could you give her any of your tips? Thank you🤗 I hope this helps you. 🩷🌸

Hi Crystal, what size blanket are you making? If your making a large blanket, your bottom fabric needs to be at least 4 inches bigger than your top fabric so the pressNSeal has a bigger area to hold on to and also using a bigger piece of pressnseal. Tip- the bigger the blanket, the bigger your bottom fabric needs to be than your top fabric, and also use a bigger strip of pressnseal. I hope this helps you. Hi, without being able to see how you sewed the strips together, it sounds like there is too much bulk in the seam for your sewing machine to sew over. The trick is to sew your strips together on a diagonal, so when you fold it together the seam allowance is less bulky. @@RobynsLoveofSewing Thank you so much for your reply and help. I got a tougher needle, dealt with some of the bulk as best as I could manage, and helped it along when needed. The ends were the toughest part, but I did manage to make it and it looks so great. The linked video is brilliant & will be an enormous help moving forward as I do need to make a second one.

Hi, I personally haven’t tried it using a double thick fuzzy minky. But if I was, I would test it on some of that double fuzzy scrap fabric to see if it would work before trying it on your big project. If it works on that then I would definitely use a walking foot and 4.0 stitch length and also I would cut the fuzzy minky at least 4 inches bigger all the way around than the cotton fabric so the press NSeal has a bigger area to attach to and keep the double thick minky more stable.
